We collect information you provide (e.g. account details, profile, posts) and usage data (e.g. how you interact with the app) to run the service, personalize content, and improve our product.

Your data is used to operate PichaPawa, show you relevant content, communicate with you, and ensure safety and compliance. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Permissions used by the app

The PichaPawa mobile app may request the following device permissions. Each is used only for the purpose described. You can revoke permissions in your device settings at any time.

• Internet — Required to load content, sign in, upload posts, and sync data with our servers.
• Location (precise and approximate) — Used to show you location-aware content and to optionally tag your posts with a place. Location is optional when creating a post; you can skip it.
• Camera — Used to take photos or videos for posts. Only accessed when you choose to capture media in the app.
• Photo and media storage (read) — Used when you select an image or video from your gallery to attach to a post.
• Storage (write) — Used to cache app data and, where applicable, save media. We do not access or upload files outside what you explicitly choose to share.

Safety and child protection

Protecting children is a core priority on PichaPawa. We maintain strict Child Safety Standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), which describe in more detail the content and behavior we do not allow, how we respond to CSAE concerns, and how you can report issues to us.

Your choices

You can access, update, or delete your account and data through settings. You may also control visibility of your content and location sharing.
